This error guide describes the various stages of analysis that can help identify the cause of a wrong time display.
Analysis steps (basis)
- Is the time on the STARFACE via NTP server or manually configured?
- Is the time display in the call lists correct?
- Is the time display on the telephones and other devices correct?
- Is the time display right in the STARFACE correct?
- Does the error picture change after a restart of the STARFACE?
Rewrite time settings
To completely rewrite the time settings of the STARFACE, the following steps must be performed:
- Access via ssh to the STARFACE with the root user (see also Password for the root user)
- Delete the file "adjtime" in the directory /etc/"
- Delete the file "drift" in the directory "/var/lib/ntp"
- Restart the STARFACE
Note: The restart of the STARFACE interrupts all active calls and connections.
