This error guide describes the various stages of analysis that can help identify the cause of a wrong time display.

Analysis Steps (Basis)

  1. Is the time on the STARFACE referred to via NTP server or configured manually?
  2. Is the time display in the call lists correct?
  3. Is the time display on the telephones and other devices correct?
  4. Is the time display right in the STARFACE correct?
  5. Does the error change after a restart of the STARFACE?

Rewrite Time Settings

To completely rewrite the time settings of the STARFACE, the following steps must be performed:

  1. Access via ssh to the STARFACE with the root user (see also Password for the Root User)
  2. Delete the file "adjtime" in the directory "/etc/"
  3. Delete the file "drift" in the directory "/var/lib/ntp"
  4. Restart the STARFACE

Note: The restart of the STARFACE interrupts all active calls and connections.
