Bugfixes

  • When entering a phone number during a conference, the user who's been called is now correctly added to the conference.
  • The entry for "STARFACE" is displayed properly in the calendar options after access has been granted.
  • The issue where incorrect URLs were being triggered upon ending a phone call has been resolved.
  • Correct documentation has been added under 'Help'.
  • The primary phone can now be set via the status menu.
  • When receiving an incoming call, the browser window now opens correctly.
  • The fax list is now automatically updated after sending a fax.

  • Technical revisions of individual code areas.
  • Optimized display of error messages for better identifiability.
  • Technical improvements for call scenarios with an outside line prefix configured on the SF system and/or specific country prefixes:
    • [SC] When public access prefix is enabled, outgoing calls without the specified prefix are correctly made. [Call#6953458] [Call#6945246] [Call#6940808]
    • [SC] Calls are dialed with correct country prefix when the user's primary external number is not in the same country as the global line configuration. [Call#6953458]

Bugfixes

  • [SC] When calling 0800 numbers, the country code (e.g. 0041 for SF PBX in CH) was prefixed. [Call#7101457]
  • Outgoing call failed when calling a French number without international prefix.
  • Outgoing calls to external numbers without country and area code did not work on SF systems with trunk access set.
  • Bugfixes to call scenarios with activated public access prefix:
    • When public access prefix was enabled, a call from the journal call list could not be started correctly without the specified prefix.
    • Calling fully qualified (canonical) numbers with configured public access prefix did not work.
    • Calling back an external number using the call icon in the Voicemail tab of the journal did not work correctly when public access prefix was enabled.
  • A link sent in chat was not displayed as a clickable link and it was not possible to open it directly via click.
  • Many error messages were written in the log that could not be verified.
  • The counter for new voicemails was not displayed correctly.
  • If a password change was necessary (e.g. at the first login), additional (different) error messages were sometimes displayed.
  • [Beta] The counter for new chat messages in the Quick Access Bar did not update correctly after reading the chats.
  • [Beta] Incoming fax message got stuck at "Connect to server".

  • Video telephony has been implemented.
  • Screen-Sharing has been implemented. The contents of a display can now be shared with call participants.
  • Remote Control has been implemented. Call participants can now be given permission to control the user's mouse and keyboard.
  • Notes of calls can now be sent by e-mail.

Improvements

  • The "Apply to Contacts" feature now creates an entry in the STARFACE adress book, not just the local adress book.
  • The input field for new address book contacts now remains open when a window is changed until it is closed manually or the contact is saved.
  • The Quick Access Bar now has descriptive labels in addition to the icons. This function can be activated in the settings.
  • An unsuccessful logon caused by a server issue will now display an appropriate error message.
