This guide describes the various analysis steps that can help to identify a possible cause of failure if it is not possible to log in to STARFACE via the Mobile Client (Android App and iPhone App).

Analysis steps (basis)

  1. Is a specific user or are all users affected by the problem?
  2. Is only a specific device or all existing devices affected?
  3. Has the XMPP server been configured correctly?
  4. Has the correct address of the XMPP server been entered in the App?
  5. Does the error picture change after a restart of the STARFACE?
  6. Has the correct license been recorded in the STARFACE? (only when using the softphone functionality)
  7. Have all necessary ports been released?
