To enable the logging extension for the ISDN-D-channel, the following steps must be performed:

1. Connect to the appliance via ssh
2. Login with the root user (see also "Password for the Root User")
3. Execute the command "activate_isdn_debug.sh" (without quotation marks)
4. Perform a restart of the services on the STARFACE

After completing these steps, all communications that are running through the appliance's ISDN ports will be logged. The files are stored in the following directory, directly on the STARFACE:

/var/log/dchannel/

The data records stored here can only be read by a special D-channel analyzer, which is available to STARFACE support. In addition, the same data is also written to the PBX logfile of STARFACE and can be read there without a special analyzer. The current PBX log file can always be found in the file "full" in the directory:

/var/log/asterisk/
